Recorded during his “Walk That Road Again” sessions in Los Angeles, Ian is back with two garage/pop tunes that reach even further back in the caverns of his ever-inventive head. “A Man Like Me” is pure pop with a driving dance floorbeat and candy-coated keyboards by co-writer/producer Jeremy Yeremian. Ian (who plays everything else) makes sure everyone knows where he’s at. “Ain’t Comin’Home” turns up the garage angst a bit but with hints Dave Davies at his most self-aware.
